Step Upon the Enemy

Ok, lets step back into the story..today Isaac is being laid out on the altar of sacrifice.....!! At the point that Isaac is being laid on the sacrificial trough and BOUND - Abraham's faith had to become Isaac's faith. Oh, to have a faith such as that!! To not even take note of the circumstances - because you are waiting on God to rescue you... Expectant....that is the word that should capture our faith..we are expectant on God to show up in a mighty way, in the midst of our battles and circumstances.
I had a dream recently, I would like to share with you. I was out in DEEEEEP water. I could see that there were sharks all around me- tormenting me and waiting for their chance to move in for a kill. The water was boiling with movement - there were so many of them. I cried out to JeEsus..."HElp MEEEEEEE"... I was in anguish and fear- it was so real in my dream. Here is the coolest thing....He didn't make the enemy go away, He lifted me out of the circumstance, held my hand, and we stomped on the head of the enemy, together. He crushed the head of the enemy with His heel, and I got to walk beside Him!!
He told me that we dont have to stay in the battle and fight the enemy - battling, bruised, bleeding and begging for help. There were so many in the water surrounding me- I would have grown weary from the fight and collapsed- an easy target to be taken out. An easy target to be consumed, from sheer exhaustion and desperation.
Instead, He is there to take your hand, and deliver you from the attacks of the circumstance. He walked me away from the attacks and away from the danger...into deeper water... He doesnt want us to touch the hem of His garment of authority...He wants us to embrace the mantle of authority that He places on us! He wants to crush the head of the enemy with His heel. He is doing a new thing and it is a new day....we are called to battle for the Lord, but if we fall into Him, and we are expectant in our faith, that He will provide shelter, comfort and protection: you are lifted out of the circumstance, you rise above it, emotionally it has no power over you. Physically, you are not being touched. You were removed from the battle, because you BATTLE FROM A PLACE OF VICTORY IN CHRIST...not towards a victory!! He has already won, grab hold of His hand, not just the hem of His garment - and let Him lift you out of the boiling waters of the enemy!! If you just grab hold of the hem of His garment - you are allowing the enemy to bite and nip at you. We are children of God....we were not meant to be bitten at. WE have a table set for us in the presence of our enemies!! Grab hold of the edge of His garment and you will remain in the battle, amongst the enemy. Grab hold of CHRIST and you rise above the enemy..battling from victory.
Abraham and Isaac were in deep water. They waited with expectant faith to be delivered, for the Lord to provide. They were lifted out of the circumstance, through faith, trust and obedience! Trust in Him...call Him into the circumstances that want to overwhelm you - He is all you need!!!
