God Most High!

In thinking about our God Most High, it occurs to me that we, so often, put our circumstances, situations, illnesses, burdens, ABOVE God Most High. We scream that we have no peace and we have such anxiety and stress, as we hold the weight of the world on our shoulders. Perhaps, we should give it to God...really give it all to God. He is GOD MOST HIGH....why are we trying to hold it all together, fix everything, Perhaps the peace, that is promised us, is missing, because we have stepped off of the Rock, and into the shifting sands of the world.

I always talk about the "fix it room"- the place in our hearts and minds, that we go to when the world gets too big and we are overwhelmed. We run into our fix it room and we close the door and we post a sign that says "BUSY" on it - so that we are not disturbed, as we take more and more on our shoulders. We wind up trying to hold our worlds up on our shoulders (picture here Hercules - holding the Earth)...and we are shaking and we are stressed and we scream out that we are so tired and fragile......as we hold the world, our world- lest it topple over and crumble.

As we stand there, and we shake and we cry out in frustration.....the loving hand of God- stretches His hand out. Waiting for our trust and to put our faith in Him, our God Most High. Lets give Him our worlds today, our hearts. Our problems, our circumstances...everything, and TRUST that He will work it out for our good. There is no person, angel, demon, or devil, nor any circumstance of life, that can thwart His plan.

You weren't meant to hold your world on your shoulders.....give it to Him that will lovingly hold it all together ------w-a-y- better than we ever could!
