Dream Today!

Ok - let's look at El Sheddai. He is El Sheddai ..God Almighty...and He can handle any problem that faces us. He is also the author of our hopes and our dreams. He is all sufficient to bring those dreams to fruition. Let's look at a story.

There was a man on a boat fishing. AS he pulled in fish, after fish - he measured them.

He landed a huge fish, struggling with it- he took out his tape measure and measured it. Shaking his head, he threw it back.

Time after time - he landed monster fishes - and threw them back - after measuring them.

Finally, he got a little, bitty, fish. His face lit up with excitement - trembling - he measured the fish- and rejoicing, dropped it in his bucket - A "Keeper".

A young man had been watching the man fish - and asked, "Why do you throw the big ones back, and keep that little, bitty thing???"

"BEcause I only have a 10 inch fry pan"

Are we like that??? Do we only hold on and hope for the little blessings? Are we approaching the throne room with confidence and boldness, expecting great things from our Father in heaven? Do we hold onto the little blessings and "keep" them, but think the BIG ONES are not meant for us?

Do you have a dream? Do you have something bubbling around inside your heart? Trust in the All Sufficient one. If He birthed the desire and the passion in your heart - He will bring it to fruition- IF YOU DONT THROW IT BACK!! You are pulling the dreams and passions up on your fishing lines - and throwing them back because they cant POSSIBLE be for you! Today, I would encourage you to HOLD the dream...dont cast it out. Pray over that dream and ask for revelation and purpose in that dream. Ask the Lord to bring opportunity and possibility into your path.

I trusted in God with my artwork, I took a leap of faith and held onto the dream a few years back. When I allowed Him to move in my heart and in my life...He blessed me with investors, with a world renown Christian artist as a mentor, with visions and supplies. He blessed me with His heart - and He meets me- to draw out His heart. He authored a book through me and continues to amaze me - always having me reach for more and to have no ceiling to the things HE will draw us to- AND THROUGH - if we allow Him.

Allow Him today - Hold onto the dream today - and start praying for direction!
